This remarkable album emerges as a compelling fusion of hiphop, lofi, and instrumental boombap, paying homage to the iconic sounds of J Dilla, The Alchemist, Large Professor, Submerse, Long Arm, OhRicky, and Dibia$e, while crafting a distinctive narrative that is undeniably his own.

"Growin' Painz" encapsulates the universal theme of this young black man's journey through life's intricate tapestry. With unflinching authenticity, the album delves into the depths of love, the raw realities of the streets, the complexities of friendships, confrontations with adversaries, the quest for belonging, and the profound loss of cherished loved ones.

The album's inception was spurred by the title themed track "Growin' Painz," the lyrics state, "I'm Growing Older Now, Now I'm Learning How, To BE," these simple words served as a beacon of inspiration that ignited the creation of this deeply personal and evocative musical narrative. This auditory masterpiece becomes a mirror of the soul, meticulously threading together his personal experiences, aspirations, and influences, painting a vivid sonic portrait that defies soulless musicality in favor of genuine connection.

Crafting each composition using Koala Sampler & his SP404 MKII; The album reverberates with an unfiltered genuine appeal, a testimony to B4Lasers' dedication to artistic integrity. While predominantly a solo endeavor, the album does boast notable appearances by Biirthplace and the Grammy-nominated trumpeter Ryan Svendsen, adding layers of depth and emotional resonance to this profound opus. Now standout tracks like "In My Head" featuring Biirthplace evoke the bittersweet nostalgia of first love, while "SinceIMetU" delves into the raw emotion of heartbreak.
